PhosAgro is one of the world’s leading vertically integrated phosphate-based fertilizer producers in terms of production volumes of phosphate-based fertilizers and high-grade phosphate rock with a P2O5 content of not less than 39% (according to IFA, Fertecon and CRU). PhosAgro’s apatite-nepheline ore does not contain cadmium - a carcinogenic heavy metal that occurs naturally in most sedimentary phosphate ore.

  • The largest phosphate-based fertilizer producer in Europe;
  • The largest producer of high-grade phosphate rock worldwide;
  • One of the top-three MAP/DAP producers in the world (by production volumes, according to IFA);
  • One of the leading producers of feed phosphates (MCP) in Europe;
  • The only producer of feed phosphates (MCP) in Russia (according to CRU and RAFP);
  • Russia’s only producer of nepheline concentrate (according to RAFP).

The Company’s priority markets outside of Russia and the CIS are Europe, Latin America and Asia, where PhosAgro leverages its established presence through trading companies set up in Switzerland, Germany, Poland, France, Brazil, Singapore, and recently in Serbia.

PhosAgro’s supplies to Europe and Latin America in 2017 increased by 30% (up to 1.8 mt) and 16% (up to 1.6 mt) year-on-year, respectively.
Last year Company’s sales to Italy received a boost and redoubled compared to 2016 year arriving at more than 100 kt.

Beyond that, PhosAgro takes its environmental impact seriously, and is regularly investing in upgrades and improvements to its environmental systems – during the last five years the Company has allocated about RUB 18 billion for the implementation of environmental programs.
